Maricel Cohen de Mulino

Maricel Cohen de Mulino is First Lady of the Republic of Panama. In this role, she leads a social agenda focused on child protection, preventive health, education, animal welfare and strengthening communities across the country.

Born in Panama City, she holds a degree in Banking Administration from Universidad Santa María La Antigua. Throughout her career, she has combined family life with active participation in the political, social and business sectors, including leadership roles promoting women’s participation and entrepreneurship.

From the Office of the First Lady, she works in coordination with public institutions, the private sector, civil society organizations and international partners to advance initiatives aimed at improving people’s quality of life, particularly for vulnerable communities.

Her work emphasizes dialogue, collaboration and practical solutions, while also strengthening exchanges with First Ladies and international leaders to promote inclusive and sustainable development.
