As part of our joint event in Panama, we will hold the IX Continental Congress on Cooperative Law and II International Symposium on Cooperative Law in Panama City, within the framework of the ICA World Cooperative Conference and Elective Assemblies.

Under the theme “Cooperative Law in the Face of Today’s Challenges”, the Congress will bring together specialists, cooperative organizations, academic institutions, public entities and other stakeholders interested in reflecting on the legal challenges that shape the present and future of the cooperative movement.

This will be a space for dialogue, analysis and exchange on the role of cooperative law in strengthening cooperative identity, democratic governance, integration, innovation and the development of enabling legal frameworks for cooperatives.

📍 Venue and dates

The Congress will take place in Panama City on September 16 and 17, 2026, as part of the joint event organized by the International Cooperative Alliance and Cooperatives of the Americas.

📄 Call for papers

Participants interested in presenting papers are invited to review the official regulations and submit their proposals according to the established requirements.

The call for papers will remain open until August 15, 2026.
