Jeroen Douglas

Director General of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA), a position he assumed following his appointment by the ICA Board.

Before joining the ICA, Douglas served as Executive Director of Solidaridad, a global network organization focused on sustainable and inclusive development. His professional experience includes leading international organizations, managing global partnerships and advancing initiatives that connect economic development with social and environmental objectives.

As Director General, he supports the ICA Board and the wider cooperative movement in strengthening the Alliance’s global role and responding to the challenges facing cooperatives worldwide.

Douglas is the 17th Director General of the ICA, which was founded in 1895 and today represents cooperative organizations across all regions of the world.
