Marina Aguilar Rubio
Marina Aguilar Rubio is a Tenured Associate Professor of Financial and Tax Law and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the University of Almería School of Law (Spain). She holds degrees in Law and Political Science and Sociology, as well as a European Doctorate in Law.
She is the author of numerous academic publications, including journal articles, book chapters and monographs, and has presented papers at international conferences. She has undertaken research stays at the Universities of Nottingham, Bologna, Arizona, Harvard. Costa Rica and Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
She has participated in R&D&I projects funded through regional, national and European programmes in various areas of tax law and on the taxation of cooperatives and social economy enterprises particularly. She also undertakes knowledge-transfer and collaborative activities with public and private organisations through research contracts.
In the field of the social economy, she regularly teaches on specialized postgraduate courses organized by the CIDES Research Centre and the Chair in Social Economy at the University of Almería. She is a researcher with EESCOOP at the Complutense University of Madrid and CIRIEC-Spain and serves on editorial boards and scientific committees of specialized journals in both Spain and abroad.
